The Position
The IT Technical Analyst is the primary contact of the Business Analyst for all Infrastructure and technical design aspects of the IT solutions.
IT solutions and innovations based on a combination of global and local driven business solutions. The IT Technical Analyst will bridge business challenges and technology solutions. The IT Technical Analyst will collaborate with IT colleagues to drive efficiencies, reusability and the IT infrastructure standardization. The IT Technical Analyst will assure full and continuous compliancy with regulatory and company requirements. 

Other responsibilities

•    Continuously collaborate across IT - ensure strategic alignment with all projects and programs related the IT infrastructure;  
•    Collaborates with IT partners in the initial development and assessment of solution alternatives ensuring alignment with global IT standards/architecture.  Verifies solution's alignment with requirements. Develops detailed technical requirements specifications from designed IT Solutions.
•    Supports the application of our cusotmer System Development LifeCycle (SDLC) and regulatory requirements, including development/review of the required deliverables as well as leading, executing and facilitation of appropriate testing activities;
•    Acts as primary point of interaction and contact with the business for technical support on applications. This means handling all ITIL processes within the scope of the applications.
•    Execute the change process, controlling approvals and work according to regulations, and create documented evidence as proof for execution.
•    Second line and third line support to the vendors, and in that way to the internal customer, when the vendor is not able to solve an incident. Also guide them in solving such an issue in the future or escalate if necessary.  
•    Keeps abreast of new technologies, methodologies, industry practices and standards.

 

Qualifications
•    Bachelors or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience. Some examples but not limited to:
o    Experience in the automation and Lab domain systems related to the infrastructure specifics;
o    Experience is server technology (W2008 and above) and Operating systems from Windows;
o    Experience in network technology, firewalls etc.
o    Windows W7 and W10 environment 
•    At least 3 years of related experience in areas of technical analysis or technical (infrastructure) engineering work;
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.

salary range: €5000 - €6000, depending on education and experience. 40 hours a week.

Job purpose:

  • This role is a key technical engineering/managing position within the release & test management group that is responsible for the release and testing of vendor delivered technology, software and service implementation of Products & Services across all Go To Market teams and therefore should ensure and manage quality, timelines, functionality and synergies in our overall delivery and operating model by working closely with peers within Technology and across the wider Technology & Innovation group.
  • This role is pivotal in bringing together services at the design activity level, including drawing in IT, Core, and other Technology groups such that we build a compelling and differentiated service across the entire customer journey, not just the core product functionality, with built-in quality, robustness and operational excellence instrumentation and operating model design.
  • This role must also focus on achieving wider Technology objectives around scale, cost efficiency, speed to market and quality.

 
Key Accountabilities:

  • As Release  Management & Test Engineer you will be required to act as the primary facilitator of the test process within Engineering teams. You will ensure efficient workflow, planning, and status reporting, as well as managing risks and resolving impediments. Next to this you will have an understanding of the test cases generated and could with support of the component owner run the test cases. These activities are undertaken to ensure the predictable performance of the component owner and test teams and the delivery of new product, product functionality and bug fixes to the defined quality process. Additionally you will plan and coordinate activities across multiple teams and where required across departments and external interfaces; you responsibilities include:
  • Being a team player. You will be comfortable surrendering component owners, other teams release management and control to the Product Team(s).
  • Removing impediments. You will do everything in your power to remove obstacles that are preventing the team from accomplishing its test release.
  • Radiating information. You will radiate information / ensure that a team's progress and successes are highly visible to all stakeholders, including the team itself.
  • Supporting the Product Teams. In addition to removing impediments for the team, you will also work to assist the Product Owner with various activities
