Product Manager Broadband (Headend and Access) (mf)

The Headend & Access unit within Technetix accounts for half of the group's overall business and focuses on active solutions from the headend to the subscriber's home. With innovation and latest technology, the Headend and Access R&D team develops ground-breaking techniques to reduce the amount of equipment required in the network while keeping product cost to a minimum. In close cooperation with the Connected Home business unit as well as the CTO division, also customised products are developed for large tier-1 operators around the globe. Reporting to and supporting the Product/Business Unit Director and working closely with our customers, you'll help define, develop and manage our product development in key areas of fibre and RF access solutions. Focussing on what the customer needs and wants, along with our engineering options, you'll push the boundaries and achieve customer service excellence. Crucial is your ability to combine your technical and business knowledge with your relationship management skills, your creative flair and your commitment to customer service and delivering first-class products. Responsible for the portfolio strategy, development of strategic product lines and identifying the most profitable market sectors, you will use all of your proven business and financial skills as well as your leadership capabilities in this exciting role. • Exceptional people management skills with proven experience of effective leadership of virtual team • Proven experience in commercial technical role in a telecoms environment • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of current and future telecoms technologies • An understanding of HFC networks and topologies, specifically access fibre and coaxial architecture
