What does a process engineer do? As Process Engineer you will be part of team Technology in Antwerp. This team is responsible for the daily support towards the production and maintenance teams and responsible for the implementation of short and long term improvement projects in the field of safety, reliability and efficiency. The focus will hereby be in the coming years on the implementation on new large projects. Your role is characterized by a large diversity; a.o. adapting logics in DCS, process calculations, troubleshooting, process tests together with the operators and to be part of projects. On the Antwerp location there are around 60 employees. This means that your opinion counts and you have the flexibility to elaborate your own ideas. You have the ability to set the right priorities and see what really matters in a production environment. You are a good communicator, which helps you to have an excellent relationship with other departments both on site and externally. You have the capacity to start and guide initiatives in the right direction. Competencies and ProfileWhat is your background? Master Degree in Engineering (preferably chemistry), or comparable via experience.
