Als ICT Coördinator ben je verantwoordelijk voor 1e & 2e lijn support over 400 werkplekken.
Daarnaast verzorg je ook troubleshooting, en de installatie van nieuwe hard/software
Je ondersteunt ook onze high-capacity data storage omgeving.
Je verzorgt ook de interface tussen de wetenschappers en de externe high end apparatuur / software suppliers 
Verder houd je je bezig met het beheren van de IT randapparatuur zoals scanners, label printers etc.
Kortom, je bent een duizendpoot met een brede IT-kennis en een gedegen sparringspartner die ook verbeteringen aandraagt om het IT landschap naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

Linux toevoeging:
  1. Installeren en updaten van het OS en standaard software op nodes in het rekencluster (scientific linux)
  2. Installeren en updaten van commerciële rekenpakketen (Abaqus, Moldflow, MSC Marc, LS-DYNA, div. compilers, LAMPS) incl. de licentieservers op het rekencluster.
  3. Support aan gebruikers voor het gebruik van het cluster en bij storingen zorgen dat het cluster weer zsm te gebruiken valt en indien nodig andere partijen inschakelen om dit te bereiken.
  4. Hardware vervanging en uitbreiding anticiperen, organiseren en uitvoeren.

 Key Accountabilities

  • Design and integrate new in-house developed content workflow services for the video back office platform.
  • Document component-level specifications.
  • Act as the product owner for your services as part of the Agile / Scrum process.
  • Write test cases for component validation.
  • Participate in End to End Architecture design sessions for new features and interface with the platform product owners to understand the platform requirements.
  • Share architectural design vision with both technical and non-technical team members, including fellow engineers, architects, product managers, designers and analysts.
  • Execute and / or delegate testing of components and their functionality
  • Write clean, well-structured specifications and designs, covering all of the functional and non-functional requirements.

Knowledge & Experience

  • University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Computer Science, Science, Mathematics or equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of experience in back end design and/or development
  • Excellent capability to write unambiguous technical requirements that require little clarification towards developers
